❗️🇰🇷Coming to South Korea is a dream for many international students, including those of us from Nepal. But getting a visa is only the beginning. Some of my friends were deported, and their experience reminds us why understanding immigration rules, following visa conditions, and protecting our future in Korea are so important. Today, let’s talk about what we can learn from this story.#InternationalStudent #WorkPermitkorea #StudyInKorea #fyp #koreanepal🇰🇷🇳🇵

⚠️ Important for International Students in Korea My friend recently applied for a work permit, but the application was returned because of an unpaid tax balance. Even a small remaining amount can cause delays or affect the processing of your immigration application. Before applying for a work permit or visa extension, always check: 🔹 Local Resident Tax (지방세) → Check through Wetax (위택스) 🔹 Income Tax (소득세) → Check through Hometax (홈택스) 🔹 Health Insurance (건강보험료) → Check your NHIS/건강보험 status and any unpaid balance If you have any outstanding payment, clear it first and keep your payment confirmation. ⚠️ Don’t wait until your immigration application is already pending. A small unpaid amount can potentially create unnecessary delays. Check → Pay → Confirm → Apply Stay updated and protect your visa/work-permit process. 🇰🇷#InternationalStudent #StudyInKorea #Korea #fyp #workpermit

Why should international students in Korea get IELTS or TOPIK? 🇰🇷📚 Many students think IELTS or TOPIK is only for university admission. But your language certificate can be useful for much more than that. 📌 1. Part-time work permission For D-2 students, language proficiency can affect the conditions for permitted working hours. Certain recognized Korean-language qualifications can help you qualify for higher working-hour limits. 📌 2. University admission Planning to study for a Master’s degree? Many universities and English-taught programs require proof of English proficiency such as IELTS. 📌 3. Scholarships Some universities and scholarship programs consider language proficiency when deciding admission or scholarship eligibility. 📌 4. Your future options A recognized language certificate can strengthen your academic profile and give you more options for studying and working in Korea. So don’t wait until you need the certificate. Prepare it early. IELTS = useful for many English-taught programs 🌎 TOPIK = especially useful for Korean-language requirements 🇰🇷 Always check the latest requirements from your university and Immigration before applying. #InternationalStudent #Korea #StudyInKorea #fyp #nepalkorea🇳🇵🇰🇷

🇰🇷 Which course is better in Korea? 1️⃣ Hospitality • Easy to connect study + part-time work • Restaurant, café, hotel experience can support your career • Korea has a strong hospitality and F&B industry • Practical experience is very important 2️⃣ IT • Good option if you like technology • A strong portfolio and projects can help a lot • Programming/technical skills are important • Korean language can still matter depending on the company 3️⃣ Business • Broad career options • Marketing, management, trade, sales, F&B management, etc. • English can be useful, but Korean is important for many Korean companies • Building a specific specialization can make your profile stronger 👉 The important thing: Don’t choose a course only because it is popular. Choose a field where your degree + skills + work experience + future career can connect. 🇰🇷 Study smart. Build real experience. #InternationalStudent #southkorea #nepalkorea🇳🇵🇰🇷 #d2visa
